We have partnered with a growing international business seeking a Finance Assistant to join its busy finance team. This is a newly created position and an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting worldwide operations. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with senior management, youll take ownership of key finance processes that ensure the smooth running of the companys day-to-day operations. Benefits: £25,000 £30,000 salary 25 days leave 8 stats 5% employer pension Health cash plan Free parking Hybrid working 2 office days, 3 days from home Flexi-time Key Responsibilities Process monthly payroll, pensions, and employee expenses across multiple international entities Support month-end accounts, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and deferred income Take day-to-day responsibility for accounts payable, including invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations, and timely payment runs Maintain accounts receivable ledgers and support credit control, debtor reconciliations, and payment collections Manage company credit cards and maintain the fixed asset register Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and assist with the annual audit Provide administrative and financial support to ensure smooth daily operations Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2 years experience in a similar finance or accounts role Experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger preferred Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, or similar) Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Strong communication skills and confidence managing internal and external relationships Apply below or contact Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital for full details.
