Trainee Financial Adviser – Accelerated Academy (Employed position)

They have created an inclusive and empowered culture where innovation, creativity, agility, and leadership are rewarded.

By using technology to drive change, they are revolutionising wealth management and delivering innovative solutions that are built for the future, making it a dynamic and exciting place to grow your career.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their Head Office Advice Team, enrolled into the Accelerated Academy to obtain your Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII) within 4 months, with the aim of moving in a Financial Adviser role.

You are required to work from their Newcastle Head Office for your first 4 weeks, during which you will spend 1 day training with our Relationship Management Team and 4 days studying towards your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. This will provide you opportunity to learn about the wider business and client bank, while obtaining your qualification to become a Financial Adviser. After the initial 4 week period, this will become a Hybrid Role, with 3 days in Head Office, and 2 days from home.

Study materials, a dedicated training programme with webinars and workshops and study time during working hours will all be provided to help support you in your studies.

Once you have successfully completed your diploma, you will then begin training with thier Head Office Advice Team, in which you will ultimately work. This involves shadowing a qualified adviser’s appointments, being supervised while taking your own calls and working towards gaining Competent Adviser Status (CAS). Once CAS is obtained, you will begin independently taking your own calls.

As well as this being an employed role, there is no requirement for you to source your own client bank as you will work towards servicing our 80,000 clients that they look after – a number that is expected to continue to grow, helping you and our client as a business, to manage the advice gap in the UK.

Probation period will be three months.

Starting salary will be £28,000, rising to £32,000 once Competent Adviser Status has been achieved, of which we will support you to achieve.

There is also an opportunity to earn further as part of our bonus scheme. Customer retention and positive feedback is required. During your training period, a £500 per month (gross) bonus is available and post training, this will increase to a maximum of £1,250 per month (gross) although this is not guaranteed.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, disciplined, and driven to achieve excellence. They should thrive in structured environments and be committed to investing in their professional development. A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to embrace challenges are essential to succeed in the fast-paced training programme and in your ultimate role as a Financial Adviser.

Individuals starting the programme should not have completed any exams towards their Level 4 Diploma and experience working within the Financial Services industry is not essential. You will be a part of a comprehensive training programme and be fully supported, we will train you in all of the necessary skills to become a competent Financial Adviser with True Potential LLP.

Second careerists looking for a new challenge and opportunity would be a great candidate for this role.

Other Benefits
– 25 days holiday, increasing to 28 in line with length of service, with an additional 8 bank holidays.
– Opportunity to take further qualifications
– Employer pension contributions increase with length of service
– Highly competitive bonus structure
