Overview
The Bishop of Chester is seeking a full‑time incumbent for the new parish of St Mary Magdalene, Alsager and St Philip, Hassall Green. The two churches have recently merged and form a single parish.

* Build strong relationships across generations and between the two churches and be a visible, approachable presence in both churches and community life.
Creative Worship Leader
* Embrace a variety of worship styles and create services that connect across ages and backgrounds—including those new to church life.
* Preach and teach in ways that are engaging, relevant, accessible, and nurture lay ministry.
A Leader with Vision
* Recognise and nurture individual gifts to foster active participation and teamwork.
* Help increase giving and grow in generosity.

Accommodation
A Vicarage is offered approximately half a mile from St Mary’s Church on a private housing estate.
Application Process
Applicants are required to submit relevant safeguarding training certificates with their applications. An Enhanced DBS Disclosure will be required for the successful candidate. Closing date: Sunday, 25th January 2025 (role is closed).
