As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will help lead a close-knit Food and Beverage team, supporting smooth service from breakfast through to dinner and delivering a warm, attentive guest experience. You will be hands on, confident with reservations, service standards and guest relations, while working closely with senior management to drive quality, efficiency and revenue. Assistant Restaurant Manager Ideal Profile:
Confident restaurant professional with experience in a quality driven restaurant or hotel setting
Naturally warm and guest focused, able to build rapport and handle feedback with ease
Strong communicator who can lead briefings, delegate tasks and support a positive team culture
Comfortable using restaurant booking systems and managing covers to maximise revenue
Organised and solutions focused, always looking for ways to improve service and efficiency
Passionate about food, wine and cocktails with a desire to keep learning and developing
Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:
Support the daily running of the restaurant, bar and lounge areas, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Lead by example on the floor, hosting briefings, guiding the team and maintaining high service standards
Maintain excellent product knowledge across all menus to answer guest queries and confidently upsell
Oversee reservations, control and forecast restaurant bookings and assist with group bookings and pre orders
Help train, coach and motivate the Food and Beverage team, supporting clear standards and procedures
Monitor cleanliness, stock rotation, loss and breakages while working within agreed cost controls and compliance standards
