Main duties of the job
Your rolewill be to predominately support our Pharmacists with Medicines Reconciliationand Medication Reviews. This is an innovative role to work within the LakesideHealthcare Pharmacy team to ensure safe and effective use of medicines forpatients within Lakeside Healthcare. As a starting point the role willinitially focus on medicines reconciliation from clinic and dischargeletters, and will develop further as the role of the Pharmacy team expands within the organisation. It is vital that effective systems and procedures are in place to ensure that this process is effective, safe and efficient. The right candidate will be involved in day to day management of this with regular and thorough reviews of all medications. The process also ensures that patients receive the appropriate monitoring necessary for the medication they are prescribed.
If you areworking across a Primary Care Network, you will be required to complete the 15month CPPE Training pathway for Pharmacy Technicians. Please see the CPPEwebsite for further information.

St Neots PCN is an average sized yet forward-thinking Primary Care Network (PCN) comprising of three practices within central St Neots and Great Staughton. We have built and developed a growing pharmacy team and recognise the value that these roles will bring to our practices and our patients, we now look forward to growing our PCN team.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working as a Pharmacy Technician in community pharmacy
* Experience of working as a Pharmacy Technician in either Primary Care or a hospital pharmacy
Qualifications
* BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences
* Professional Registration with the GPhC
* Evidence of continued professional development
