About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Insurance to lead their insurance strategy and operations, with a strong focus on property and facilities risk management. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for ensuring robust protection of our assets, effective claims management, and the development of insurance solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, negotiation, and management of insurance programmes across property, liability, and operational risks.
Develop and implement risk transfer strategies to support business continuity and resilience.
Partner with property, facilities, and operational teams to proactively manage insurance requirements and mitigate risks.
Oversee claims handling, liaising with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure fair and timely resolutions.
Provide expert advice to senior leadership on insurance trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in insurance governance, reporting, and cost efficiency. About You
Proven experience in a senior insurance role, ideally within property, real estate, or facilities management.
Strong technical knowledge of property insurance and facilities risk management.
Exceptional negotiation skills with experience managing brokers and insurers.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
