EYFS Reception Teacher (Maternity cover: September 26-July 27)
We are looking for an Early Years teacher to join our Early Years’ team in providing our pupils with a creative and nurturing learning environment, that will support their emotional well-being and help them to become resilient and independent learners, ready for the next stage of school life.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework, supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. You will work closely with experienced teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
Applicants should:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in Reception or EYFS
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
* Be confident with early phonics, language development, and early maths
* Use observation and assessment to inform next steps in learning
* Create a nurturing, engaging, and well-organised learning environment
* Work effectively as part of a collaborative EYFS team
