The role:

Your primary responsibility will be the effective management of our multi-million-pound strategic research programme in.
This initiative explores genomic and transcriptomic heterogeneity in healthy plant and animal cells using advanced single-cell and spatial genomics technologies. You will work closely with the programme lead and collaborate with managers of our other strategic programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality project management support across the Institute’s research strategy.
2. Lead the coordination and delivery of the Cellular Genomics programme.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful programme outcomes.
The ideal candidate:
You will hold a PhD in a relevant scientific field and have a strong track record in scientific writing.
Experience managing complex research projects and familiarity with project management tools are highly desirable. You’ll be an excellent communicator, resilient, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.

This is a part-time role for 18 hours per week, on a fixed-term contract of 27 months.
