Roles and Responsibilities Providing general support to the whole class to help maintain a positive learning environment Delivering targeted 1:1 Support to a student with SEN, adapting your approach to mee their individual needs Assisting with classroom management and behaviour strategies Supporting the implementation of learning plans and activities Helping pupils to build confidence, develop key skills and stay engaged Collaborating with the teaching team, SENCO, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support What were looking for At least one year experience working in a primary school setting, ideally supporting pupils with SEN A relevant qualification such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate, CACHE diploma, or equivalent A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and behaviour management strategies A positive, proactive and patient attitude with a genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and wellbeing Why Horizon Teachers You will be paid the permanent equivalent for the job after 12 weeks, in many cases from day one.
