Our client is a well-established Managed Service Provider near Leamington Spa, currently looking to add an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to their growing technical team.
About the Role:
As a key member of the support function, you will be instrumental in maintaining seamless IT operations across both internal and client systems. Working alongside the field support team, you will be responsible for resolving a wide range of technical issues and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to and manage incoming service tickets via the helpdesk system and direct calls.
* Deliver 2nd and some 3rd line technical support for incidents and service requests.
* Carry out system maintenance tasks, including operating system updates and antivirus monitoring.
* Ensure all work aligns with internal IT policies and complies with relevant security protocols.
* Support data recovery processes and manage both on-premises and cloud-based backups.
* Create and maintain up to date documentation, including diagrams and knowledgebase articles.
