Role: Consequences Coordinator (Student Behaviour Administrator)

Salary (Actual Salary): £21,956 to £22,304 (Grade 3)
Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Plus Five Days
Do you possess the firm yet compassionate approach needed to manage behavior interventions and support students in developing better learning habits? Join us as a Consequences Coordinator, playing a key role in raising standards of behaviour for learning. You will manage the consequences provision, ensuring a structured environment where students can reflect, progress with their work, and overcome barriers to achieving their potential.
Responsibilities
Working under the direction of senior staff, you will coordinate the support provision for students requiring behavioural intervention, primarily through the management of the Consequences Room. Duties include timely contact with parents to communicate behaviour, Consequences, or exclusions. You will be responsible for arranging, organising, and supervising appropriate work and/or specific skills development with individual students. You will liaise with parents, external agencies, education welfare, and the police regarding confidential and complex issues. The role requires maintaining the Consequences Room environment and meticulously recording all C4 and C5 behaviour incidents onto the MIS system.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with the willingness and ability to enhance qualifications and training in the post. Essential skills include the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences and the capacity to respect and maintain confidentiality. Crucial requirements include excellent time management and organisational skills, proficiency in standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office, and the capacity to relate sympathetically to students while recognising potential child safeguarding issues. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
