Our Sales Advisers help customers find their dream home and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
You need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and requirements. These skills include listening, questioning, empathy, product demonstration, and closing skills.
Reporting to a Sales Manager, you will be expected to:
1. Demonstrate comprehensive local knowledge, including amenities, schools, transport links, and competitors.
2. Have a thorough understanding of our product and pricing.
3. Effectively follow up on leads to convert inquiries into site visits.
4. Utilize our sales methodology, schemes, and incentives effectively to close sales.
5. Achieve sales targets in line with business requirements.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
* Experience in delivering sales in a service environment (e.g., housebuilding, retail, hospitality, banking, estate agency).
* Commercial awareness of the market and competitors.
* Ability to understand and act upon customer needs to maintain the company's reputation.
* Resilience and drive to achieve personal and organizational targets.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Up-to-date knowledge of legislation, economic conditions, and technology.
* Persuasive communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing and building rapport.
* Openness to change and exploring new ways of working.
* Supportive attitude towards team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
* Ability to build relationships across functions, internally and externally.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* IT literacy.
* Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and travel as needed, sometimes at short notice.
* Hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle for business travel.
