Baltic Creative CIC is seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our busy team. As Property Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of a wide range of daily property operations, asset management duties, and facilities management functions, with an overall purpose to ensure our buildings and services are maintained to the highest possible standards in accordance with legislation and best practice. This is a varied and dynamic role that requires a technically skilled professional with prior experience in commercial property management or a facilities management setting. Main duties and responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants across the property portfolio, ensuring high levels of customer service. Manage IT and security service contracts including alarms, access control, CCTV, car parking and broadband. Ensure value for money and that all SLAs and contractual obligations are met. Oversee the business rates process on behalf of the Company, including managing vacant premises and liaising with relevant local authorities. Support the delivery of planned and reactive repair works, including procurement, inspections, repair logging, financial reporting, and contract administration using the CRM system. Requirements Excellent customer service and communication abilities Sound knowledge of current property legislation, particularly Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations Understanding or experience of Landlord and Tenant law, lease agreements and related contractual obligations.
