About AMS
AMS is the world's leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients' recruitment team, providing professional interim and temporary resources. We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes.
On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Reporting Manager for an initial 6-month contract, UK-based with occasional travel to London.
You will join the Strategy Office supporting a major transformation programme.
Responsibilities of the role include:
* Playing a pivotal role in ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting across the programme as Reporting Manager.
* Leading the development and continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, tracking programme performance, risks, issues, benefits realisation, and supporting executive governance through clear and decision-focused reporting.
* Developing, managing, and continuously improving the programme reporting framework, templates, and governance cadence.
* Producing high-quality, insightful reports, dashboards, and executive summaries covering programme performance, risks, issues, dependencies, financials, and benefits realisation.
* Driving consistency and quality of reporting inputs from project managers, workstream leads, and enabling functions.
* Managing the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of programme data used for decision-making and reporting.
Requirements and skills:
* 5+ years' experience in a programme reporting, PMO, or portfolio management role within a complex change environment.
* Strong analytical and data management skills; ability to synthesise large volumes of information into clear insights.
* High proficiency with portfolio and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, PowerQuery, PPM software, MS Office 365 suite).
* Experience producing and presenting reporting outputs for executive audiences.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of programme financial management and benefits realisation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A solid foundation in risk management, issue tracking, and decision escalation.
