At ESG360°, we’re transforming how companies understand, track, and improve their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. Our latest product, ESG360°Air (released in April) is a breakthrough solution designed to help businesses reduce the burden of sustainability reporting, create revenue opportunities from ESG data, and drive real-world impact.
We’re an ambitious team with big plans - and we’re ready to bring on our first sales hire to help push ESG360°Air in the market.
About the role
As our Commercial Associate, you’ll play a key role in refining ESG360°’s commercial function from the ground up, helping shape our outbound strategy, sales process, and customer success approach.
You’ll manage full sales cycles - from prospecting and closing deals to supporting early customers and helping build our playbook for long-term customer success. You’ll work directly with the founding team in our Glasgow office, collaborating daily with our CEO and Founder’s Associate, and play a pivotal role in helping us transition from founder-led sales to a scalable commercial operation.
Responsibilities
* Identify and engage prospective customers across the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore
* Collaborate with marketing to design and execute outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, events, networking)
* Coordinate and lead product demos — initially with the CEO, and over time independently deliver demos and presentations of ESG360°Air
* Onboard new customers and help build ESG360’s customer success function from the ground up
* Act as the voice of the customer, sharing insights to inform product development and improvements
* Help define and shape ESG360’s sales processes and performance metrics
Requirements
* 2-5 years experience in a fast-paced environment (start-up, consulting or finance) with a strong degree in finance, international relations/policy or sustainability
* Strong outbound sales skills - you’re comfortable prospecting and running cold outreach
* Great communicator and relationship builder with existing and future clients
* Entrepreneurial mindset - you’re excited to create new processes and aren’t afraid to jump in wherever needed to make things happen
* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
* Energised by working in person with a collaborative and ambitious team
Nice-to-Haves:
* Experience in sustainability will be helpful but not essential although a passion for this field is a MUST
* Again, sales experience is nice but is not essential. Being a very capable generalist who wants to apply commercial understanding to the commercial side of the business is the most important quality
