Role
24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for a client we are representing in the Halifax area. Due to an increased demand from the client, we are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers in the Halifax area, on a temporary to permanent basis - The client you will be working for specialise in waste management and recycling. The client has stated that a strong background within these areas would be desirable but not essential for the role
Requirements
* Professional experience driving an HGV Vehicle
* No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence
* Ideally a background in waste management / recycling
Skills
* Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a HGV Vehicle
* Proven experience as an HGV delivery driver
* Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
* Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
* Ability to navigate using GPS to locate delivery addresses.
