Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full Time Blackburn Start Date: September We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Blackburn from September on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across a range of year groups. Role Overview: As an HLTA, you will be responsible for covering classes across different year groups, delivering pre-planned lessons, and supporting pupils’ progress in the absence of the class teacher. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver lessons across various year groups in line with provided plans Manage classroom behaviour effectively Support the academic and personal development of pupils Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff Provide feedback on pupil progress Requirements: HLTA qualification (essential) Proven previous experience working in an HLTA role Strong classroom management skills Flexibility and confidence covering different subjects and age groups A proactive and positive approach to supporting learning Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday If you are a motivated HLTA looking for a rewarding full-time position starting in September, we would love to hear from you.
