The Opportunity We are seeking a Group Strategic Lead to play a pivotal role in turning our strategic vision into action across multiple businesses. Reporting to the Group Managing Director, this role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and departmental managers to ensure clear alignment on priorities, consistent communication, and effective delivery of key initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, strategically minded individual who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys connecting high-level goals with practical execution. Key Responsibilities Translate Group and SLT objectives into clear, actionable plans with defined owners, timelines, and deliverables. Track progress on major initiatives, highlight risks or delays, and help resolve barriers to delivery. Ensure priorities and expectations are clearly communicated across subsidiaries and sites. Support the preparation and follow-up of SLT meetings, ensuring discussions are well-framed and outcomes delivered. Capture and circulate actions, decisions, and updates to maintain accountability and momentum. Conduct research and prepare strategic recommendations to inform SLT decision-making. Gather insights from departmental teams, identifying recurring challenges and opportunities to feed back into Group strategy. Support cross-company projects such as brand development, new product introductions, and integration of newly acquired businesses. Support People & Culture alignment, helping ensure consistent communication, leadership practices, and performance cycles (without handling day-to-day HR administration). About You You’ll excel in this role if you: Have strong experience in business strategy, project delivery, or cross-functional coordination. Can analyse data, identify trends, and turn insights into practical recommendations. Communicate clearly and confidently with all levels of an organisation. Are organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Have experience in e-commerce or manufacturing sectors (advantageous but not essential). Are confident operating autonomously while building trusted relationships across leadership teams.
