Cana Consulting is partnering with a global, technology-driven manufacturing organisation headquartered in the UK. Due to continued growth and regulatory complexity across its international operations, the business is expanding its compliance function.
We are hiring for a Compliance Manager, with a focus in Data Protection & AI Governance.
Data Protection & AI Governance
This role will lead data governance and emerging technology compliance initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage global data protection compliance (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other applicable frameworks).
* Oversee DPIAs, data mapping, retention policies, and cross-border data transfers.
* Support digital transformation and privacy-by-design initiatives.
* Develop governance frameworks for AI usage, automated decision-making, and emerging technologies.
* Monitor regulatory developments relating to AI and digital compliance.
* Deliver compliance training and manage incident response relating to data breaches.
Ideal Profile
* Strong experience in data protection, privacy, and governance frameworks.
* Exposure to AI governance, digital risk, or emerging technology compliance preferred.
* Experience operating in multinational corporate environments.

* Have 8+ years’ experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory functions.
