Overview

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Bestwood Village School based in Nottingham. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. The postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our students who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus in this role, target led, via the OFG group and individual clinical ways of working, embedded into our clinical practice. They will also coordinate the line management of onsite clinical team members and lead on the development of the school-based clinical service alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead. Our Clinical Teams maintain a person-centred, empowering approach with pupils at the forefront, and a strong safeguarding culture. Outcomes First Group aims to provide innovative approaches to enhance the quality of life and outcomes for pupils. Location: Bestwood Village School, Nottingham, NG6 8TL (Bestwood Village School is part of our Options Autism brand and is an independent specialist day school for children and young people aged 7–16).


Responsibilities

* Provide clinical leadership to the on-site clinical team and oversee therapy caseloads.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles of need.
* Collaborate with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to develop and implement service improvements.
* Coordinate line management for the clinical team and contribute to service development of the school-based clinical service.
* Ensure practice is person-centred, safeguarding-focused, and aligned with EHCP requirements.
* Engage in multi-disciplinary work and contribute to a growing and developing clinical service.


Qualifications

* Degree qualification in a relevant discipline plus leadership/management experience.
* Valid professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities.
* Experience in providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to a growing clinical service.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
