Project Planner – Data CenterLocation: London City CenterSalary: £110,000 to £120,000Sector: Project Management ConsultancyWorking Arrangement: HybridThe consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of large-scale data center projects in the UK. The role involves developing and managing detailed project schedules, coordinating with multiple disciplines and ensuring programme information is accurate and presented clearly. This position suits someone who can bring strong structure and planning discipline to complex technical projects.Responsibilities:Programme DevelopmentPrepare detailed project schedules from early design through to commissioningEstablish milestones, sequencing and logic for all phases of the data centre projectIdentify risks, constraints and potential delays earlyProgress and ReportingTrack project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performanceProduce weekly and monthly progress reports for internal teams and client stakeholdersReview contractor programmes and assess alignment with the master scheduleCoordination and CommunicationWork closely with project managers, engineering teams and commercial teamsAttend coordination meetings and clearly communicate programme statusProvide planning insights and support for forecasting and decision makingSchedule AnalysisCarry out critical path reviews and scenario analysisAssist with delay assessments and support commercial teams where schedule impact is involvedDocumentation and StandardsMaintain accurate planning files, revision histories and supporting documentationEnsure programme outputs meet consultancy standards and client expectationsExperience and Skills:Proven experience as a planner or scheduler on data centre projectsExperience within a project management or cost consultancy is beneficialStrong understanding of construction sequencing and MEP coordinationSkilled in Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectStrong communication skills with confidence in client facing situationsHighly organised with strong attention to detailQualifications:Degree in engineering, construction management, project management or related disciplineAdditional planning related certification is advantageousPackage OfferedSalary of £110,000 to £120,000 depending on experienceHybrid working arrangementTravel allowanceFull benefits package available on applicationOpportunity to work on large-scale data center projects with a respected consultancyStrong development and progression pathways
