GP Practice Manager vacancy - start date April 2026
We are looking for a Practice Manager to join our friendly team and replace our much-loved outgoing Manager.
Working hours would be up to 25 hours per week; salary competitive but negotiable depending on experience and for the right person school hours possible!
Our wonderful team currently consists of 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, Practice Manager, Office Manager, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 4 Administrators and a Community Pharmacist with supporting Technicians.
Comrie Medical Centre is a dynamic, forward-thinking GMS practice straddling the edges of rural Perthshire and Stirlingshire.
We are a recognised remote and rural practice with a list size of 2750 patients.
Comrie is situated in beautiful west Perthshire and offers an enviable lifestyle. The Great Outdoors is on our doorstep with lochs, rivers, Munros and mountain bike trails all within easy reach. It really is a wonderful, inclusive village to live and work in for those with children there is a Primary School in Comrie and Secondary Schools in Crieff. We are we looking for a Practice Manager who is:
1. An excellent communicator
2. Experienced in team management, ideally within a healthcare setting
3. Confident in financial business management
4. Confident in data protection and clinical governance
5. Familiar with employment and human resources processes
6. Enthusiastic about rural general practice
7. Committed to providing excellent patient-centred care
