This role combines high-quality teaching with SEND coordination, delivering a trauma-informed, outdoor-focused curriculum.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach approx. 3 days per week, delivering relational, experiential lessons integrating outdoor learning.Lead SEND provision, ensuring compliance with SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, ILPs, and multi-agency reviews.Support adaptive teaching for SEMH, neurodiversity, and trauma needs.Maintain assessment, progress tracking, and documentation to inspection-ready standards.Contribute to restorative behaviour support, co-regulation, and relational practice.Use 2 protected SENCo/admin days for planning, reviews, and multi-agency coordination.What's OfferedSmall classes and relational caseload for sustainable workload.Generous CPD budget, including SEND, therapeutic and outdoor education training.Access to outdoor curriculum resources and reflective spaces.Strong work-life balance and supportive leadership.Person Specification Essential: QTS, SEND experience and knowledge, SEMH/trauma experience, relational teaching skills, ability to work in outdoor learning contexts.
