We have an exciting opportunity for inspirational and motivated midwives to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent position of 37 hours within Raigmore Maternity Unit, covering all aspects of midwifery care, with a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends. Part-time hours will also be considered.
The post holder will be a registered Midwife on the NMC Register, educated to degree level or equivalent, with relevant clinical experience. Responsibilities include providing safe, effective, person-centred care with a trauma-informed focus, in accordance with NHS Highland policies and procedures, while maintaining statutory requirements as per the NMC.
The successful candidate will communicate effectively, participate in quality improvement and assurance, and manage resources efficiently. They will support junior team members in assessing, planning, and implementing individualised clinical care, utilizing their clinical expertise and judgment.

From 1 April 2024, NHS Scotland will reduce the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours without a change in pay. This adjustment will be pro-rated for part-time staff.
