Company Details and Job Overview:
Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a successful division of a large manufacturing group as they seek to appoint a qualified Management Accountant. Due to business growth, this new position has been created to take ownership of the month end management accounting process, as well as providing support with various projects which will include a system upgrade in the next 6-12 months.
With offices based on the outskirts of Preston, a hybrid working arrangement will be available (3 days office based/2 days remote).

Your New Role as Management Accountant:
•Ownership of month end management accounts production
•Support Directors to deliver and improve financial information to support business strategy and ongoing growth
•Month end journals, prepayments and accruals
•Analysis of margins on sales
•VAT returns
•Inventory management
•Constant review of existing systems and processes, identifying and implementing improvements where necessary
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will be proven in a similar level, varied and hands on finance role. With a forward thinking working approach, you will have proven ability to improve financial processes and controls and staff management experience is required. Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential and strong systems skills are imperative, particularly Excel and experience of SAP is desirable.
