Our client, operating in the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their team at their facility in the South West. With a 40-year heritage in rotary aviation and a well-established reputation for maintaining Leonardo aircraft, this permanent role offers the chance to contribute to a respected and dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Head of Department
* Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
* Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the facilities, and off-site upon customer demand
* Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
* Ensure the highest quality and standards of work in aircraft, components, and documentation
* Maintain facilities, equipment, and premises to an acceptable standard
* Debrief operational crew members to accurately define and record defects
* Analyse and interpret technical aircraft information
* Work with other Departments to ensure smooth business operations
* Ensure compliance with industry requirements and authorities such as CAA and EASA
* Adhere to all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to company policies and reporting authorities
* Manage all maintenance tasks efficiently, ensuring safety is a priority
Job Requirements:
* Licensed Aircraft Engineer with experience on EC145 / H145, Airbus EC 135 / H135, and/or AW139
* Strong background in aircraft maintenance
* Proven ability to certify work within company authorisations
* Excellent communication skills for reporting and debriefing
* Proficiency in analysing and interpreting technical data
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and compliance with industry regulations
* Eligibility to work and live in the UK, with the ability to hold security clearance
