Procurement Manager
A flexible, hybrid role set in Grant Thornton UK. We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead indirect spend projects and drive the procurement function forward.
A look into the role
* Lead a variety of indirect spend projects across the business.
* Drive the development of procurement policies and processes, including third‑party due diligence and risk management.
* Work with stakeholders to define new procurement strategies that deliver best value and mitigate risk.
* Increase the visibility of procurement and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
* Adapt traditional procurement processes to an agile, entrepreneurial environment.
* Support our ESG strategy, including SBTi commitments and supplier diversity programme.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and finance to meet business objectives within budget.
* Ensure accuracy of procurement data – contracts database, spend data, activity tracker.
Knowing you’re right for us
Minimum criteria: extensive indirect procurement experience, ability to translate procurement best practice into policies and processes.
Desired skills (not all required):
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building.
* Commercially astute with proven negotiation experience.
* Experience in professional services, partnerships or financial services.
* Supplier management and third‑party assurance and risk management.
* ESG and I&D experience within the supply chain.
* Digital & IT procurement, especially software and hardware.
