Operations Manager Location: Derby (DE22) Salary: Highly Competitive Benefits You will be working as part of the team at a highly respected Chartered Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Plc who provide bespoke financial advice and services to a broad range of clients, individuals, high net worth individuals, families, and businesses. An outstanding new opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager within a highly successful SJP Senior Partner Practice. You will be managing the operational needs of this busy practice which supports 4 Financial Advisors. The Role: Operations Manager Reporting to the Director you will manage all operational aspects of the Practice on a daily basis, including: * Driving the business forward with creativity and positivity * Providing outstanding client service at all times, and inspiring others to do the same * Responsibility for HR and recruitment, payroll, onboarding, appraisals, and development and training of new starters. * Managing the admin support team to effectively deal with all new business and client servicing requirements * Holding regular team meetings to ensure communication of any regulatory changes, and progress towards business goals and objectives * Overseeing the end-to-end business process, ensuring this is managed and tracked efficiently in line with Practice and regulatory standards * Supporting the Partner to maintain client relationships and referrals, service existing clients and assist in building new relationships * Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, CPD, and licensing requirements, positioning the practice as a high-performing, compliant business * Co-ordinating quality audits and regular reviews and renewals of Cyber Essentials, Risk, Company insurances, staff insurances, health, and safety requirements * Responsibility for all facilities and premises management, property maintenance, and payment of invoices * Providing management information on the Business pipeline. The Person: Operations Manager * You will have a track record as an effective manager in an operational office-based environment, this may be in a Financial Services business but is not essential * You will have a good understanding of how you can add value to this business, and you enjoy working as part of a team * You have some HR experience * You are used to using IT systems and may have used Salesforce * You will be a confident professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
