We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with enthusiasm for and experience of working with children with Speech, Language, and Communication needs, specifically with school-age children. This role is within the mainstream schools team in Warwickshire.
The post holder will be part of a supportive team including other speech and language therapy assistants and speech and language therapists. The role involves delivering treatment following written plans, sharing skills and information with parents and other professionals within schools, and creating and sharing resources. Travel independently to various schools across the South of Warwickshire is required.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting Speech and Language Therapists in delivering services in various settings to children across Warwickshire.
2. Delivering packages of care to children across the county.
3. Developing high-quality resources for speech and language therapy interventions.
4. Supervising less experienced staff.
