Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Primary School Setting
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) to support each child's holistic development.
* Create a safe, warm, and enriching environment, nurturing curiosity, independence, and social growth.
* Carry out regular observations and assessments, contributing to meaningful learning journeys and development plans.
* Build open and supportive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider nursery team.
* Provide personal care support—e.g., feeding, toileting, changing—ensuring children's comfort and dignity.
* Foster positive behavior and guide social skills using gentle, effective approaches consistent with nursery policies.
* Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children are always maintained.
Requirements
* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
* Hands‑on experience in a nursery or early years environment is essential.
* Solid knowledge of EYFS principles, early child development, and effective pedagogical practices.
* Confidence in supporting children with varying needs, ensuring inclusive care and learning.
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic personality, committed to early years education.
* GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) are required.
