Cover Supervisor
Newstaff are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to join our team. If you are an Overseas trained teacher, have or started a PGCE, Degree qualified Tutor, have teaching experience… we’d love to hear from you!
Supply cover Supervisors will cover in daily/weekly supply requirements in secondary schools across Leighton Buzzard. Longer term or temp to perm roles may be available.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and managing classroom behaviour.
2. Delivering preprepared lessons and encouraging student engagement
3. Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
4. Providing support and assistance to students as needed
5. Reporting and issues or incidents to leadership team
6. Working with the school team to ensure continuity of learning.
Must have:
7. Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Patience, adaptability, and genuine passion working with students.
10. Able to manage classroom behaviour.
