We have multiple vacancies within Financial Accounting that were previously filled by interim resource. One interim is leaving, and although the service is now moving to permanent recruitment, there is an urgent need forinterim supportto ensure completion of theStatement of Accountsandyear-end close down.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver theyear-end close downprocess
2. Prepare and support the completion of theStatement of Accounts(Local Authority)
3. Provide hands-on technical accounting support during a busy period
4. Work closely with internal finance teams to support statutory reporting deadlines
5. Essential Requirements
6. Fully qualified accountant(CIPFA preferred; CCAB also considered)
