We are looking for a practical and reliable Finishing & Warehouse Assistant to join our Production team. This is a full-time, permanent role based at our site in Simonside, South Shields. You'll support both the Finishing and Warehouse teams to ensure the efficient production, packaging, and dispatch of high-quality printed products. This hands-on role involves assisting with finishing equipment, handling materials, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Your Role
As a Finishing & Warehouse Assistant, you'll play a key part in ensuring our products are completed to the highest standards and dispatched on time. Working across both the finishing and warehouse areas, you'll help keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating or assisting with finishing equipment such as folders, collators, and inserting machines.
* Packing, labelling, and palletising finished goods ready for dispatch.
* Supporting the warehouse with picking, packing, loading, and unloading deliveries.
* Assisting the van driver with vehicle loading and unloading where required.
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace and helping with general labouring tasks such as recycling and waste removal.
* Moving materials safely between departments and maintaining accurate handling and storage.
* Assisting with basic machine setup or maintenance tasks under supervision.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to meet production and dispatch schedules.
Your Skills and Experience
* Experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment (preferred).
* Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
* Experience using print finishing machinery or packaging equipment is desirable.
* Forklift truck licence (or willingness to train).
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
