About the Role
As a Recovery Navigator, you'll play a crucial role in guiding individuals toward recovery, offering tailored support, and coordinating services for their well-being. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives, join us in this impactful position. In the Recovery Navigation Team, we support clients in addiction from opiates and alcohol from 18 years and above. We deliver psychosocial interventions to support clients through treatment.
What You’ll Do
1. Manage a caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
2. Facilitate and promote individuals’ progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
3. Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
4. Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
Whether you come from a strong background in the substance misuse sector, have experience in mental health support, have a history in the criminal justice field, or possess a relevant academic background, we welcome you to join our diverse team. We believe that various experiences contribute to our comprehensive support and care mission. Specifically, we are seeking individuals with one or more of the following professional experiences:
5. Substance misuse background
6. Mental health background
7. Criminal justice background
8. A relevant academic background such as Criminology, Psychology, Law or Sociology
9. A strong portfolio of volunteering in a similar role
10. Case management experience and the ability to manage expectations in this emotionally demanding role are highly valued for their contributions to our mission of consistent, high-quality care.
