Our client, an Award-winning Landscape Architecture practice with offices in London and the North of England are looking for an Associate to shape high-profile projects, mentor teams, and drive design excellence at their forward-thinking practice. With a minimum of 8 years experience, including international/overseas projects, you’ll bridge the gap between the Board and junior staff—overseeing project execution, managing teams, contributing to business development, and driving design & project delivery. This role will: Lead and manage a team, overseeing conceptual design, technical development, and project delivery. Ensure projects meet high-quality design standards, remain on budget, and align with client expectations. Manage resource planning, project invoicing, and financial performance. Play a key role in business development, writing proposals and securing new work. Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, representing the practice externally. Mentor and support junior staff, guiding them through their professional development. This role needs: 8 years' experience in landscape architecture, including at least 2 years as a Chartered Landscape Architect. Experience managing international projects or working on overseas developments Strong commercial knowledge - both in generating new business opportunities and in maintaining project profitability. A proven track record in project management, resource planning, and delivering high-quality design. Leadership experience - great team management skills. Client and stakeholder management experience including proposal presentation, negotiation and reporting. Expertise in developing and presenting plans using design software (Revit, CAD, or similar) Bonus: Expertise in planting design and horticultural knowledge.
