We’re supporting a growing manufacturing business based in Blackburn that’s looking to appoint an HR Advisor on a 5–6 month contract to cover maternity leave.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail while also providing solid operational HR support. You’ll work closely with an existing HR Advisor and support employees and managers across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, documentation and system updatesMaintaining accurate employee data and HR records
Supporting recruitment activity, including coordination and administration
Providing day-to-day HR advice to managers on policies and procedures
Supporting HR activity across EU and APAC regions, working with international stakeholders
Assisting with payroll changes, employee queries and absence tracking
Supporting ongoing HR projects, including the implementation of Workday and SuccessFactorsHR Advisor
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Operations role
Experience supporting international employees or businesses
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employee relations fundamentals
Excellent attention to detail and confidence handling HR administration and data
Experience using HR systems (Workday and/or SuccessFactors is highly desirable)
A proactive mindset and the ability to hit the ground running
A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
