Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensures proper staffing is scheduled and maintained.
2. Ensures all training is given to new employees.
3. Ensures proper documentation is prepared by staff to maintain compliance with airline guidelines, FAA, TSA, CBP and other regulatory agencies.
4. Directs Supervisors to ensure proper freight handling and delivery.
5. Develops standard operational and working practices.
6. Reviews resolves operations problems to ensure service standards are consistently met.
7. Ensures that the operation in efficient and safe
8. Responds to critical service recovery situations with customers, freight and employees.
9. Reviews expenditures to comply with corporate P&L levels.
10. Ensures all training is given to new employees.
11. Reviews equipment inspection forms to ensure specific operational and safety compliance.
12. Ensures that the operation in efficient, safe and within the budgetary parameters
13. Motivates, coaches and counsels staff.
14. Responds to critical situations with customers, freight and employees
Required Skills:
15. Four-year degree from an accredited college or university or 5 years previous supervisory/management experience.
16. Aviation Industry experience a plus.
17. At least 2 years of experience in a managerial position.
18. This position is a night shift
19. Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including drug testing.
20. Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal;
21. Must pass driver’s test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver’s license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA);
22. Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
23. Must be able to meet airline client work schedule requirement.
