Overview
This role sits within the Drawing Office discipline at Subsea7.
The Animator is responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D animations and visual content in compliance with company Drawing Office and animation procedures.
What will you be doing?
* Act as the focal point for all project communications and activities, ensuring delivery of high-quality work in line with project plans, QA, and HSE requirements.
* Provide feasibility input on deliverables, timescales, and resource availability, including contributions to project CTR estimates when required.
* Manage and coordinate internal and external interfaces related to animation and visualisation projects.
* Produce high-quality 2D and 3D animations, visuals, and VR content in line with standardised engineering policies, processes, and systems.
* Support the development of standardised deliverables, improved efficiencies, and departmental procedures and work methods.
* Liaise closely with Project Engineers and contribute to lessons learned and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs).
What experience would we like you to have?
* Highly skilled in creating 3D animations.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and through electronic channels.
* Demonstrated creativity, artistic vision, and a solid technical understanding of visual and animation deliverables.
* Ability to manage change control within own project remit, proactively informing stakeholders of any constraints impacting programme or budget.
* Proven ability to deliver work effectively within agreed time and budget constraints.
* Familiar with reading engineering technical documents and drawings
* Required software skills: Autodesk 3ds Max, Chaos V-Ray, Chaos Phoenix, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After effect.
* Optional software skills: Unreal Engine, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Navisworks
