Electrical Supervisor

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a growing and well-established contractor operating across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys leading teams on site, delivering high-quality electrical installations, and playing a key role in project success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical works on planned and bespoke projects, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership
* Lead, motivate, and manage electrical teams on site
* Coordinate electricians and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
* Act as the main point of contact for electrical activities on site
Project Delivery
* Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems
* Ensure works comply with design specifications, regulations, and client expectations
* Support project managers with progress updates and technical input
Site & Programme Management
* Manage day-to-day site operations for electrical works
* Ensure programmes and deadlines are met without compromising quality
* Identify and resolve technical or site-related issues efficiently
Compliance & Safety
* Ensure all electrical works comply with current regulations and safety standards
* Carry out or oversee testing and inspection where required
* Operate in line with Electrical Appointed Person duties (where applicable)
* Maintain high standards of health & safety and site documentation
Requirements
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* C&G 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification (preferred)
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory or senior electrician role
* Background working within commercial, industrial, or mixed-use environments
* Experience managing site teams and coordinating electrical works
Skills & Attributes
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and fault finding
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
Licence
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to commute to Haverhill and surrounding areas
