Technical Architect Job in Southwark, London
A is available in Southwark, London and is being offered on a 9-month fixed-term basis. You will be the architectural practice on a number of higher education projects in London.

Architectural Technicians or Architectural Technologists will also be considered for this role.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Produce and manage technical design packages across a series of projects from RIBA stages 3 – 6
2. You will be working on higher education projects throughout the UK
3. Candidates will be required to prepare project programmes, write specifications, and prepare construction details.
Required Skills & Experience
4. A minimum of 1 year UK professional working experience
5. Be able to demonstrate a high level of technical detailing skills along with an understanding of modern methods of construction
6. Experience working on education, commercial, or transport projects is desirable (no residential)
7. Strong experience using Vectorworks is essential
8. Good working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office
9. Thorough working knowledge of UK building regulations
10. Ability to work within a small team, where good communication and coordination is key
11. Fluent in both written and spoken English
12. A thorough understanding of issues that occur on large-scale projects
13. Have a flexible and committed attitude to work
14. The ability to be able to work using your own initiative.
