Job Overview
Element has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician - Lightning to join our Oxford facility. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a UK National. You will carry out testing and analysis on Fuel / Structural / Avionics aerospace systems for effects of lightning. You will join a growing specialist team, working for a leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out testing, recording and assessing test data
* Writing reports on the findings of the test and analysis programmes
* Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
* Supporting other members of the team in diverse test programmes
* Maintenance of high current generator
Qualifications
* Ideally you will have an engineering (STEM) sector background
* Practical hands‑on approach, aptitude for experimental testing and problem solving
* Knowledge of electrical systems would be beneficial but not a requirement
* Possess good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
* A Full UK driving licence
* UK national for Security Clearance
