The Opportunity;
We’re partnering with a leading global brand on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join their HR team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment and enjoys combining strategic ER leadership with hands-on casework and change delivery. You’ll take the lead on complex and sensitive employee relations matters, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and shaping how the business navigates organisational change. This is an exciting and newly created role influential role, that sits at the intersection of ER expertise, leadership coaching, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities;
* Lead on complex and high-risk ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and conduct issues, ensuring robust, fair, and commercially-sound outcomes.
* Partner closely with senior leaders and HRBPs, providing expert advice and risk mitigation strategies on sensitive employee and organisational matters.
* Take ownership of high-profile investigations, ensuring detailed reporting, transparent communication, and stakeholder confidence.
* Drive and deliver change programmes from restructures and consultations to policy or process changes ensuring compliance, clarity, and compassion throughout.
* Analyse ER data and trends to identify proactive solutions, influencing the broader people strategy.
* Build trusted relationships across HR and the wider business, helping to shape a culture of fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ideal candidate;
* Proven experience managing complex, high-risk ER cases within a large centre of expertise or matrixed organisation.
* Strong stakeholder management skills confident influencing at senior leadership level and advising with commercial awareness.
* Hands-on experience delivering change programmes, restructures, and consultations.
* Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice ER frameworks.
* Exceptional communication, judgement, and problem-solving skills.
* The courage to challenge, influence and support leaders through ambiguity and transformation.
