GSL Education are seeking a dedicated PE & Intervention Coach to work within an inclusive primary school in Sheffield (S12). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone energetic and proactive who is confident supporting both PE lessons and targeted pupil engagement interventions. As a Physical Education (PE) & Intervention Coach, you will support the delivery of high-quality physical education, lead active lunchtime sessions, and work with pupils who may require additional encouragement to engage positively in school life. Core Responsibilities: Support the delivery of engaging PE lessons across the primary curriculum. Lead and organise lunchtime and break-time sports and activities. Deliver targeted intervention sessions to support pupil engagement and behaviour. Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive participation in physical activity. Support classroom staff in promoting positive behaviour and routines. Build strong relationships with pupils to enhance wellbeing and motivation. Requirements of PE & Intervention Coach: Previous experience working with children in a school or sports coaching setting. Strong behaviour management skills and a positive, energetic attitude is essential. Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities. Good communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
