Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cable Jointers Mate to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable networks. You will work closely with experienced jointers to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the installation and maintenance of underground cables
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
* Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Qualifications
* Previous experience or knowledge in electrical work is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with excavators, welding techniques, hand tools, and power tools is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required.
