My Client, a market leading Building Services and Sustainability Consultancy, based in Kent is searching for an Electrical Engineer to join the team in Rochester.
This is a hybrid role, offering varied projects spanning retail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential and mixed‑use developments. This opportunity is available with a market leading Consultancy who specialise in building services designs for large scale projects.
Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality electrical designs for buildings across a wide range of sectors.
* Engaging in all stages of the project lifecycle and liaising with multidisciplinary teams in the office and on‑site.
* Monitoring site progression, liaising with design and commissioning teams, supporting site installations and ensuring design compliance.
* Producing technical drawings and calculations for cabling, electrical systems and lighting (2D and 3D) using Dialux, Relux, Amtech and AutoCAD for residential, commercial and retail developments.
* Contributing to sustainable design solutions and low‑carbon strategies.
* Client meetings across the region to discuss project progress.
Qualifications
* Strong academic background in Electrical Engineering and experience working for a UK‑based consultancy completing electrical designs for buildings using Dialux, Relux and/or Amtech.
* Experience designing for residential, commercial and industrial developments is beneficial.
* Working knowledge of British/European standards and Building Regulations (BS7671) and BREEAM, with ideal experience designing battery storage, EV charging or photovoltaics.
* Valid driving licence to attend site visits across the region.
Whilst this opportunity offers flexible working, you will be required to work from the office in Rochester.
