My client is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join their law firm in Leicester, Leicestershire.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a modern and progressive firm that values efficiency, technology, and quality service.

This role is ideal for a secretary who enjoys a mix of traditional legal support and compliance-related work. You’ll be part of a professional team that supports fee earners and contributes to maintaining high operational and regulatory standards across the business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support while assisting in areas of compliance and risk management. This is a diverse role that would suit a highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence.
• Managing diaries, arranging meetings, and coordinating client communications.
• Assisting with file reviews and ensuring compliance standards are met.
• Maintaining accurate digital records and managing document templates.
• Supporting the wider team with administrative and compliance-related tasks.
• Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors, and third parties.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a law firm.
• Strong IT literacy and experience using case management systems.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality, compliance, and client care.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Salary between £26,000 – £30,000, depending on experience.
