An award-winning regional financial services firm is seeking a driven Corporate Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its growing legal team based in Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor looking to take greater ownership of transactions, work closely with entrepreneurial clients, and grow within a collaborative and forward-thinking practice.
About the Role
You will manage a range of corporate matters from start to finish, working with clients across sectors including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and high-growth companies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and supporting corporate transactions including share and asset sales, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key transaction documents such as SPAs, shareholders’ agreements, and ancillary documents
* Providing corporate governance advice and supporting on company law matters
* Collaborating with colleagues across tax, finance, and accountancy functions for integrated client service
* Playing an active role in client management and business development
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified solicitor with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law
* Comfortable managing transactions with autonomy, ideally with experience acting for owner-managed or mid-market clients
* Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, commercial mindset
* Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
* Desire to work in a regional firm with strong client relationships and a national reach
