We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a school team and help support pupils’ learning and development. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom and supporting students to reach their full potential. Starting October 2025.
Duties as Learning Support Assistant:
* Assisting teachers in the classroom to support pupils’ learning
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils who need extra help
* Helping prepare and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Encouraging independence and confidence in learning
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers
Ideal Learning Support Assistant:
* Have experience working with children in an educational setting
* Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable
* Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualification (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
* Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills as a Learning Support Assistant.
* Have a genuine passion for supporting all learners
