We’re looking for a confident and forward-thinking Underwriting Manager to lead our existing Technology portfolio.
Position Summary
This role is all about combining strong leadership with deep technical know-how to deliver smart, tailored insurance solutions for the fast-moving technology sector.
You’ll be guiding a team of underwriters, helping them grow and perform at their best, while also staying sharp on emerging risks. We need someone who’s not just great at managing people, but also focused on delivering results and driving business forward.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspire and leada team of underwriters, helping them grow through coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
* Shape the futureof underwriting by contributing to training programs and influencing pricing and policy decisions.
* Own your portfolioby reviewing and managing underwriting decisions across your book of business.
* Be the voice of insight - prepare and present reports that help leadership make informed decisions.
* Champion regional strategiesand bring business initiatives to life at the branch level.
* Be a relationship builder, marketing our offerings and cultivating partnerships with brokers to ensure mutual success.
* Lead with purpose, guiding your team in managing broker relationships and ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Stay sharpby keeping up with industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics - and sharing that knowledge with your team.
* Ensure compliancewith legal and regulatory standards, acting as a key representative for the Legal Branch.
* Take on new challengesas they arise - this role evolves with you.

* High level of ability to lead, coach, and support underwriting teams to help them grow and succeed.
* Brings solid technical know-how and a strong grasp of underwriting principles and insurance practices.
