About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join a busy workshop team. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle inspections, working to manufacturer specifications. This role suits someone with a stable employment history, strong technical skills, and a professional approach. A 4-day working week option is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
* Diagnose faults using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment
* Complete vehicle inspections and scheduled maintenance
* Maintain accurate job cards and service records
* Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
* Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and deadlines
* Support a high level of customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
* Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification preferred
* MOT Testing qualification preferred
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Stable employment history demonstrating reliability
* Professional, hardworking, and detail-focused
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools required
